Hermenegildo Mediano
Everyone who knows
Hermenegildo calls him Herme. It is no wonder, he really does need a
nick name. We Gringos appreciate all the short cuts we can get.
Herme was born in the Andes mountains in
the department of Apurimac, which is high in the Andes. His native
language is Quechua, the language of the Incas.
Hermis determined early in life that he wanted to make something of
himself. After graduating from high school his pursuit of an education
took him Lima, Peru. It was there he met friends who introduced him to
the teachings of Jesus Christ. Hermis obeyed the calling and eventually
found himself headed to college at Baxter Institute's school of
preaching in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. He graduated in December of 2003
with a degree of "Liscenciatura in Theology"
Hermis is married to Eva and they have a beautiful son, Nain. They are
a very hard working couple and are very dedicated to the work of our
Lord.
